Part of being a member of the TimeBank Community is getting together to meet each other face-to-face, have an opportunity to hear about each other's talents, skills, needs and desires. Join us for our monthly "meet-up" to learn more about one another and about time banking. Lunch will be generously provided by the UNO Episcopal Campus Ministry.

Help to Restore Coastal Louisiana by replanting native grasses SAT., NOV. 12, 7am-3pm
Earn Hour Credits and meet other NOLA TimeBank members while helping to restore LA's Coastal Wetlands. Plant native grass cuttings under the direction of BAYOU LAND RC&D this Saturday, 7 am-3pm. Part of being a member of the TimeBank Community is getting together to meet each other face-to-face, have an opportunity to hear about each other's talents, skills, needs and desires. Join us for our monthly "meet-up" to learn more about one another and about timebanking. New member orientation begins at 6:30pm, Existing members can arrive at 7pm. We are all pretty new right now, so feel free to come at the earlier time if you feel you have questions or to hear the orientation information. You may choose to bring a dish or drink to share if you desire but please do not feel obligated to do so. Everyone is welcome! There will be crayons and markers and paper and blocks, etc. available to keep the little ones occupied.

First NOLA TimeBank Fundraiser a SUCCESS!A BIG THANK YOU to the many people who donated items and energy, making NOLA TimeBank's first fundraiser, a Rummage Sale on October 22, a HUGE SUCCESS! We earned enough to repay member loans for annual Membership dues to our affiliate, TimeBanks USA and then some!!! We are glad to report that membership in NOLA TimeBank remains free for individuals thanks to the dedication of timebankers and the generosity of donors and of course, Rummage Sale shoppers! We also received 27 sign-ups for more info about NOLA TimeBank! Good work, everyone! Don't forget to pay yourself the HOUR CREDITS you earned!
